1978年生，湖北宜昌人，博士后，讲师，硕士研究生导师。1996-2000年就读1996~2000年就读华中理工大学电力系，获工学学士学位；2000~2003年就读华中科技大学电气与电子工程学院高电压工程系，获工学硕士学位；2003~2006年就读华中科技大学电气与电子工程学院高电压工程系并获工学博士学位；2007年底成为华中科技大学电气工程博士后流动站和西安电力机械制造公司博士后工作站联合培养博士后。2010年2月出站。

先后主持了国家自然科学基金、湖北省自然科学基金、中国博士后科学基金、南方电网国家工程实验室开放基金、华中科技大学自主创新研究基金、强电磁工程与新技术国家重点实验室开放基金等多项基金项目，参与国家863、科技部攻关等重大重点项目多项，在国内外期刊和重要会议上发表论文30余篇，拥有专利技术8项，软件著作权2项，并长期关注教育教学改革问题，先后主持了湖北省及华中科技大学教育改革项目、华中科技大学大学生科技创新项目等，获“2009年度湖北省优秀本科毕业设计指导教师”、“2012年华中科技大学青年教师教学竞赛二等奖”等荣誉称号。
